I'm Diarmid Mackenzie Smith.

Raised on a farm with a practical and hands-on approach to maintaining a household.

I qualified as a Residential Property Surveyor in 1992 and have since worked exclusively in housing, spending 23 years managing and supporting property throughout Scotland.

This included running a prominent and well-respected Letting Agency in Central Scotland, overseeing 1300 properties and so there aren't many problems in a house that I'm yet to encounter!

I love getting my hands dirty to keep a home in good order.

I understand the complexities of running a safe home and how hard it can be with a busy life or if it's just not your thing.
